These terms are the rules for using BAM, a motion-controlled game run by (“we”, “us”). By signing in or using the free trial, you agree to them. If a child is playing, the parent or guardian agrees on the child’s behalf. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
Play safely
- Clear the space around you. Move furniture, cables, pets and small children out of the way, and make sure the floor is not slippery.
- Children should always have an adult nearby.
- Take a break of at least 5 minutes every 30 minutes, and drink water.
- Stop straight away if you feel dizzy, sick or sore. Do not play if a doctor has advised you not to exercise.
1. Who can use BAM
Accounts are created by a parent or guardian with their email address, or by us for approved players. Players under 18 need a parent’s or guardian’s permission and supervision. If you are a parent or guardian, you are responsible for how your child uses BAM.
2. Your account
- Keep your password private and do not share it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- An account can be signed in on one device at a time, and is signed out after 30 minutes of no activity.
- Trial accounts stop working on their end date.
- We may switch off or delete an account that breaks these terms, is not used, or puts others at risk.
3. The free trial
The free trial lets you try BAM without an account. It lasts 10 minutes, there is a short wait between trials, and each network can start only a limited number of trials per day. Some features are not available, and nothing from a trial is saved.
4. Playing safely and at your own risk
BAM asks you to move your body. You are responsible for playing in a safe space and within your own abilities, and for following the safety advice above. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for injury or damage that results from not doing so. Nothing in these terms limits any right or responsibility that the law does not allow to be limited.
5. Camera
BAM needs your camera to work, and you decide whether to allow it. How the picture is used is explained in the Privacy Policy: it stays on your device and is not recorded or sent anywhere.
6. Fair play and acceptable use
Please do not:
- cheat, change or fake scores, stars or records, or use programs, scripts or tools to play or to interfere with BAM;
- try to get into anyone else’s account or information, or to get around the security or the limits on the free trial;
- copy, resell, take apart or reverse-engineer BAM, except where the law or a licence allows it;
- use nicknames that are rude or that contain personal information such as a full name or an address.
7. Scores and world records
Scores and records are for fun. We may correct, remove or reset a score or record that looks unfair, was caused by a fault, or was set before we changed how a game works.
8. Changes and availability
BAM is provided “as it is”. We may change, add or remove games and features, change round lengths and speeds, or stop the service. We do not promise it will always work without breaks or errors, and we try to give notice of big changes.
9. Price
BAM is currently free. If paid plans are introduced later, the price, how you are billed and how refunds work will be shown clearly before you pay, and these terms will be updated.
10. Ownership and third-party material
BAM is based on a game created by @yem.cube on Instagram, which we use and have adapted with the creator’s permission. In line with that permission, BAM’s software, design and content belong to us or to the people who license them to us. You may use BAM for your own personal, non-commercial play. BAM also uses free and open-source material, which stays under its own licences:
- Artwork, models, sound effects, jingles and the announcer’s voice: Kenney (kenney.nl) and others, public domain (CC0).
- The Fredoka typeface: Milena Brandão and Hafontia, SIL Open Font Licence 1.1.
- Body-tracking models and tools: Google MediaPipe, Apache License 2.0.
- Software libraries including PlayCanvas, React, Rapier and others, under their own open-source licences (MIT or Apache License 2.0).
11. Our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for loss of scores or progress, or for problems caused by your device, camera or internet connection. Nothing here limits responsibility that cannot be limited by law.
12. Ending your use
You can stop at any time. To close an account and delete its information, write to . We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use BAM after a change means you accept it. For significant changes we will tell parents and guardians first.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of .
